Georgia Train Depot Challenge

The object of this challenge is to visit as many Georgia train depots as you can within a year. Additionally,  the second part of the challenge is to visit depots in towns representing every available letter of the alphabet.

The Rules
  • Locate a Georgia train depot (freight or passenger).
  • Send a photograph of your motorcycle or you and your motorcycle to our Vice President by email.
  • The photo should include the date, city and railroad (if known)
  • Photographs of a yourself alone or yourself and a vehicle with more than 3 wheels will not be accepted.
  • By all means, if a depot has already been posted it may be used by other members!  You'll just have to send in your own picture is all.  After all, the idea is to ride!
  • Photos of motorcycles on trailers will not be accepted.
  • If the depot is no longer standing a photo of the historical marker noting it will be accepted.
  • Remember, some cities and towns have more than one depot!  Take advantage of it.

Q: I've taken a picture of depot with the camera in my cell phone but don't know how to send it by email.  How can I submit my photo?

A: Contact our Vice President by email and he will give you a phone number to send the picture to and will then submit your photo.
