Checking your blueknightsgavi.org email
 
If you have one of the "blueknightsgavi.org" email addresses you can check it on one of the following links.  If you are already familiar with how to check hotmail or MSN mail you can login the same as you already do for hotmail or MSN mail.  Just log in as thisisme@blueknightsgavi.org (where "thisisme" is YOUR username) and NOT hotmail.com.
 
Microsoft has released "Windows Live Mail" software which is FREE and will allow you to send and receive your "blueknightsgavi.org" mail as well as hotmail, Yahoo! Premium (NOT the free Yahoo!), Gmail and ISP email such at AT&T, Comcast, Bellsouth, etc all with one piece of software.  It will save the mail to your computer and allow you to create mail even while off line to be sent later.  This is VERY similar to Outlook Express except that it WILL check web based email like blueknightsgavi and hotmail!  In fact this is what Outlook Express has become!  To find out more, click here.
 
Method One (preferred)
  • Download Microsoft Live Mail (free) here.
  • Install the software and follow the instructions to check all of your email accounts!
  • When setting up your blueknightsgavi mail you will only need your username and password.
 
Method Two
  • Click here.  The link will open in a new window and take you to the hotmail log in page.  Log in as thisisme@blueknightsgavi.org (where thisisme is YOUR username).
  • If the above link takes you to the MSN page.  In the upper left corner under "welcome" there will be a link for hotmail and you will sign in with thisisme@blueknightsgavi.org (where thisisme is YOUR username), NOT hotmail.com.  You can also click the link for "My MSN" and sign in that way.  Going to "My MSN will take to your MSN page that will preview your mail and give you information such as news, weather and movie times based upon the zip code you provided when you got the email address.
  • If you tell the log in screen to remember your username and password it will log you in automatically each time you visit that page.  If you tell it to only remember your username, that's all it will remember.

 

Method Three

  • Click here.  The link will open in new window and take you to the live.com log in page.  In the upper right corner, under the date there will be a sign in link.  Click the sign in link and sign in as thisisme@blueknightsgavi.org (where thisisme is YOUR username) and NOT as hotmail.com.
  • If you tell the log in screen to remember your username and password it will log you in automatically each time you visit that page.  If you tell it to only remember your username, that's all it will remember.

 

Method Four

 If you use Outlook 2002 or newer you can use Outlook to check, send and receive your blueknightsgavi.org email.  This is the full version of Outlook and not Outlook Express.  Send an email to webadmin@blueknightsgavi.org for a link on how to accomplish this.
