Georgia Courthouse Challenge

The objective of this Challenge is to visit as many Georgia County Court Houses as you can during the year! There are presently 159 counties located in Georgia.  The rules are simple.  Just visit as many County Court Houses in Georgia during the year as you can!  Set a personal goal for yourself, this is not a competition or race.  This is an individual endeavor with goals set by you.

The progress of members will be listed in the order they were sent in.  In other words, the first one in will always be the first listed and the second will always be the second listed.

Q: What do I do if there is a "new" courthouse as well as the older "original" courthouse?
A: Preferably go to the older "original" courthouse.  An example of this would be Cherokee County where both the old marble courhouse and the new courthouse are side by side.

The Rules
  • Take a picture of your motorcycle or you and your motorcycle in front of either the courthouse or the historical marker sometimes found in front the courthouse.  A picture of the courthouse alone or picture of a vehicle with more than 3 wheels at the courthouse will not be accepted.  After all we are a motorcycle club.
  • By all means, if a courthouse has already been posted it may be used by other members!  You'll just have to send in your own picture is all.  After all, the idea is to ride!
  • Photos of motorcylces on trailers will not be accepted.
  • Record the date of your visit on the log sheet available here.  Print the document and keep it for your records or keep it on your computer.
  • Send the picture, the name of the courthouse and the date of the visit to our Vice President by email.  If you take the picture with a cell phone but don't know how to save or email the picture, contact the Vice President for a phone number to send the picture to.

Q: I found a courthouse and took a picture with my cell phone but don't know how to send it by email.  How can I submit my photo?

A: Contact our Vice President by email and he will give you a phone number to send the picture to and then submit it for you.
