Ride Challenges
For our members looking for adventure and riding consider taking one of the Ride Challenges. You'll travel on your motorcycle and have fun. The challenges can be participated in as an individual, as a group or a combination of both. The whole idea is to get out and ride to areas of the state you haven't been seen before.
These challenges have been "borrowed" from another motorcycle group but they have the same goal that we do, ride and have fun. If a location of one of the challenges has already been posted you may by all means use it again! The idea is to ride! You will however have to send in your own picture.
Down below, you'll see a list of the challenges along with a brief description of the challenge. To the left in the navigation bar you will see links that will take you to the page for that challenge our web site where you'll a more detailed description along with the rules and log sheets for the challenge (if there is one). Chapter Members progress in each of the challenges will be posted on the web page for that challenge. The progress will be listed in the order they are received, not who has done the most on the challenge.
If you have an idea for an additional challenge you can email it to our Vice President.
Look carefully at the challenges! A location may contain the ability to satisfy a requirement of more than one challenge!
Courthouse Challenge: The object is to visit as many Georgia County Courthouses as you can in a year.
5 Corners Challenge: The object is ride to the five corners of Georgia.
Train Depot Challenge: The object is to visit 50 or as many as possible train depots in Georgia. A second part is to visit depots in towns that represent all 26 letters of the alphabet.
R.A.T. Challenge: Road Anomalies Touring is finding odd things along the road, historic items along the road or things that just don't fit in or are odd.
Georgia State Parks Challenge: The object is to visit as many state parks as you can in a year.
